Arsenal defeated Tottenham 4-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. Eberechi Eze opened scoring in the 32nd minute, but Randal Kolo Muani equalized two minutes later after dispossessing Declan Rice. Viktor Gyokeres restored Arsenal's lead shortly after halftime with a shot from the edge of the area. Eze added a third goal in the 61st minute, and Gyokeres sealed the win with a stoppage-time goal.
The result moved Arsenal to 61 points from 28 games, five points ahead of second-place Manchester City, who have played one fewer game. The teams will meet again in the English League Cup final on March 22 and in the league in mid-April.
For Tottenham, the loss extended their winless run to nine league games dating to late December. They sit 16th in the table with 11 games remaining, four points above the relegation zone. The match was new manager Igor Tudor's first in charge after replacing Thomas Frank earlier this month.
Elsewhere in the Premier League on Sunday, Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister scored in the 97th minute to secure a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest. Crystal Palace beat bottom-placed Wolverhampton 1-0 with a 90th-minute goal, and Fulham won 3-1 at Sunderland.
