Tyler Reddick won the 68th Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday, February 15, 2026, driving for 23XI Racing, the team co-owned by NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan and three-time Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin. The race featured multiple crashes, including a 17-car incident on Lap 123 that damaged several contenders.
On the final lap, Chase Elliott was leading after Carson Hocevar spun out. Reddick made contact with Elliott from behind, causing Elliott to crash. Reddick then passed to take the checkered flag, leading only one lap of the race — the final one. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Joey Logano finished second and third. Elliott was credited with fourth place.
The victory came approximately two months after 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports sued NASCAR in federal court for antitrust violations, claiming monopolistic practices. The lawsuit settled on the ninth day of trial in December 2025, resulting in changes to NASCAR's revenue-sharing model and establishing permanent charters for all Cup Series teams. NASCAR CEO Jim France and Jordan, who had been courtroom adversaries, shook hands in victory lane after the race.
The race start time was moved up one hour to 1:30 p.m. ET due to weather concerns. Kyle Busch started from pole position, his first Daytona 500 pole in 21 attempts, but finished 15th after his car was damaged in the Lap 123 crash. William Byron, attempting to become the first driver to win three consecutive Daytona 500s, also had his day end early after hitting the wall following an early-race spin.
